1. Functional Plating

Plating has the effect of adding new functions and greater values to the material

surface of essential manufactured products. Surface treatment plays an integral

role in technologies that ensure corrosion resistance, wear resistance,

hardness,electric conductivity, soldering, light reflectivity and other desired

Nickel plating

・Glossy nickel plating

Serves as a first plating to highlight the gloss of the metal; enhances corrosion

resistance

・Semi-glossy nickel plating First plating which utilizes the process of materials such as hairlining and sand blasting
・Non-glossy nickel plating Used to increase soldering adhesion and limit light reflection
・Electroless nickel plating Plating with phosphoric property for high corrosion resistance

 

Gold plating

・Pure Gold plating(24k plating) Used for contacts and other parts requiring high conductivity
・Au-Ni alloy plating Decorative gold plating that adds corrosion resistance and hardness

Palladium plating

・Rhodium plating This beautiful white-gold decorative plating is used for exterior parts of watches as well as writing instruments. Its high reflectivity, hardness and good corrosion resistance make rhodium ideal for the plating of dental mirrors

 

Circuit board plating

・Hard Ni-Au platng Electro-Ni-Au platng capable of covering the plated surface with a gold layer up to approx 5μ in thickness
・Electroless Ni-Au plating Alternative gold plating for soldering

 

Copper plating

・Copper sulfate plating Plating with a leveling effect that enhances the gloss of the product
・Copper cyanide plating Used in applications where greater adhesion is needed.
